Field Marketing Associate / Canvasser - SB
About The Position
System Pavers is seeking individuals to join their award-winning team as a Field Marketing Associate. The primary responsibility is to represent the System Pavers brand by connecting with residential homeowners to schedule free estimates/appointments with Design Consultants. This role involves canvassing neighborhoods to identify customers interested in remodeling their outdoor spaces, and is not a hard sales position. The company emphasizes a team-first culture that rewards hard work, drive, and people skills. The role offers a base hourly pay of $24/hour, with average annual earnings of $60,000 including commission. Candidates must be able to work weekends.
Requirements
- Be 18 years+ with a good driving record and reliable transportation
- Be able to be on your feet throughout most of the day
- Be friendly and outgoing with good verbal communication skills
- Be able to work weekends and special events
- Be willing to train and excited to represent our brand
- Self-motivated: You have excellent time management skills, a strong work ethic and a desire to succeed
- Great Communicator: You excel in both verbal and written communications
- Personable: You’re known for your outgoing personality and professionalism
- Positive Attitude: You have a can-do attitude and a mindset focused on growth and learning
- Outdoors Lover: You enjoy being outside on a daily basis and also relish the idea of helping others transform their outdoors into a space that brings people together
- Satisfactory passing of a standard background check
- Clean driving record when driving for the job is required
Responsibilities
- Making initial contact with clients and building a rapport
- Canvassing neighborhoods to talk with customers about their needs and vision
- Attending home shows, fairs, and other outdoor living events to connect with homeowners
- Maintain a customer-centric focus that prioritizes service and satisfaction
- Efficiently utilize company technology platforms using a tablet and necessary software
