About The Position

AECOM Hunt has an exciting opportunity for a Project Superintendent will be responsible for on-site supervision of all construction activities for the LA28 Olympic and Paralympic Games and Team USA. The Project Superintendent will: Focus on field execution, subcontractor coordination, safety, quality control, and schedule adherence. Work closely with the Project Manager while serving as the primary on-site leader and point of contact for subcontractors and inspectors. Oversee construction and TI (tenant improvement) projects from preconstruction through closeout. Coordinate and manage inspections with Los Angeles County jurisdictions and local agencies Enforce jobsite safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA and company standards Conduct daily site walks to monitor quality, progress, and site conditions Identify and resolve field issues, conflicts, and coordination challenges in real time Manage site logistics, phasing, and sequencing, particularly in occupied or operational facilities Maintain accurate daily reports, logs, and field documentation using Procore Lead subcontractor meetings, toolbox talks, and coordination meetings About Construction Management – AECOM Hunt Founded in 1944 in Indianapolis, Indiana, AECOM Hunt has been building for over 70 years. Requirements

  • BA/BS Construction Management, Engineering or similar curriculum and 6 years of demonstrated construction superintendent experience or AA/AS and 8 years of relevant experience or HSD/GED and 10 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.

Nice To Haves

  • 6+ years of experience as a Superintendent, with a strong focus on interior renovations and tenant improvement projects
  • Proven experience managing field operations in Los Angeles County, including familiarity with local inspection and permitting processes
  • Strong leadership and subcontractor management skills
  • Experience working in occupied buildings and phased construction environments
  • Proficiency with CMIC, Bluebeam, BIM or other similar field management tools
  • Strong understanding of construction sequencing, methods, and building systems
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
