About The Position

AECOM Hunt has an immediate need for an experienced General Superintendent to support the JFK Terminal 2 (JFKT2) construction project in New York City. Serves as top advisor on projects of large scope and complexity and is recognized as industry leader in the field. Provides marketing and business development support and may have considerable interaction with clients. This is primarily an advisory, not supervisory, position, but may have a small number of direct reports. Oversees the administration of projects during the construction cycle including technical, financial, and client satisfaction.

Requirements

BA/BS in Construction Management, Engineering, plus 12 years of relevant construction experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education, including 4 years of leadership
12 years of experience as a Superintendent working on large, mega construction projects.
Proven experience delivering major aviation/airport terminal projects , ideally within an active airport environment.
Strong knowledge of NYC-area construction practices, codes, permitting, and regulatory requirements; experience with Port Authority projects is highly preferred.
Experience in the management and selection of subcontractors.
Ability to interact with team members as well as key stakeholders, Owners Reps, etc.
Strong commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence on highly complex construction sites.
Proficiency with construction management software (CMiC).
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).
