About The Position

As a labourer, you will support efficient shop operations by performing low-complexity tasks contributing directly to workplace organization, safety, and process flow in alignment with Finning Opx standards. Requirements
- Completion of grade 12 and mechanically inclined
- Valid Driver's License with successful recent driver abstract
- Due to safety requirements must be minimum 21 years of age
- Physical requirement ability to lift/move up to 40 lbs.
- Self-starter able to follow directions, assist and work under the direction of a Field Heavy Duty Mechanic and possess the motivation necessary to contribute positively to a safe team environment
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work under minimal supervision
- You are required to become a member of the Union associated with this position. This will be effective immediately and will result in union dues being deducted from your pay. The terms and conditions of your employment will be governed by the collective agreement.

Responsibilities
- Moving equipment in and out of the shop
- Aid mechanics with the removal and installation of guards
- Oil sampling, lube and oil changes
- Washing and detailing of equipment
- Assisting field and shop mechanics as required
- General clean up of shop, yard, field sites, parts and machines
- Other General Duties as required
