About The Position

Reporting to the Regional IT Services Manager, this role serves as the primary onsite face of Digital Technology, delivering high‑quality support across plant and office environments. The position owns end‑to‑end Plant IT and OT services, partnering with local and global teams to ensure reliable operations while driving automation, AI, and digital adoption to improve productivity and decision‑making.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Engineering, Data Science/AI or Automation.
  • Must be a champion of AI & Automation driving use cases.
  • Hands-on experience designing, integrating, and operationalizing Large Language Models (LLMs) and Small Language Models (SLMs), including models and platforms such as OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, and similar, with a strong understanding of model selection, fine-tuning, prompt engineering, APIs, security, and enterprise-scale deployment within IT and data platforms.
  • Proven experience in data and tag analysis within manufacturing environments, leveraging AI/ML techniques to analyze OT/IT data (e.g., sensor data, historian tags, MES data), extract actionable insights, improve process efficiency and quality, and support use cases such as predictive analytics, anomaly detection, and AI-assisted operations.
  • At least 5 years of Industry experience, preferably supporting plant IT and OT environments.
  • Experience working in a global IT support environment and collaborating with global teams.

Responsibilities

  • Provide end-to-end Plant IT and OT support, ensuring high availability of plant systems and operations.
  • Support and enable plant automation systems in collaboration with operations and engineering teams.
  • Drive AI, data science, and digital use cases at the plant to improve efficiency and decision making.
  • Deliver end user IT support, including desktops, laptops, peripherals, and local applications.
  • Manage meeting room and collaboration technology to ensure seamless onsite and hybrid meetings.
  • Support barcode and shop floor hardware including handheld scanners, printers, and VMUs.
  • Oversee site server administration, including monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Manage physical security systems and coordinate with security and facilities teams.
  • Execute the Evergreen program covering PC, network, and server refresh cycles.
  • Maintain accurate IT asset records using HAM Pro and drive digital technology adoption, including user training and change communication at the plant.
  • Ensuring that local IT infrastructure is physically secure, reliable, operational and meets current global IT standards, exceptions to be reported to the local Regional IT Services Manager.
  • Acts as a conduit between IT and the local business and is often required to communicate complex IT systems and issues to senior business leaders in an understandable and professional manner.
  • Monitor and manage local backups, data restoration, mobile device administration, and IT procurement activities.
  • Perform software testing and deployments, providing feedback to Global IT teams to improve operational efficiency and user adoption.
