Field Intern
About The Position
Michael Baker International is seeking to hire Field Interns for their Orlando, FL office. As a part of the Civil Engineering team, the Interns will primarily assist with field inspection services for a project at the Orlando International Airport. Work for this project will occur from June through July. Requirements
- Enrolled in pursuit of a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Currently enrolled as a Junior or Senior and taking applicable classes towards their field of study
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential to success in this role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software
Responsibilities
- Field review and inspect structural components
- Assist project managers and engineers with various field tasks
- Prepare Inspection summary reports
- Work under supervision of a project manager or task leader
- Assist with data collection, input, verification, and manipulation
