About The Position

The Field Intern position must be able to effectively communicate (both written and verbal) to all levels both within and outside the organization in a professional and timely manner. Individuals will assist Project Managers and Superintendents with the tracking of quantities, submittals, RFI development, layout/surveying, Daily cost tracking, daily reports, quality control and support of our safety plan. Knife River requires all employees to successfully pass a post-offer pre-employment drug test as well as random tests throughout employment.

Requirements

  • Candidates are preferred to be pursuing a 4-year degree in Civil or other Engineering, Construction Management.
  • Self-Start with the desire to learn and grow.
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office required, MS Excel, Outlook, Word, Project
  • Successful applicant must have a valid driver's license and a qualifying driving record under Company Policy.
