About The Position

The Field Installer assembles and installs all types of signage, including exterior signs with posts and interior signage. The role includes preparing installations at the shop by reviewing scope, staging materials, and pre-assembling signage to support efficient delivery and installation. Preparation tasks may include painting posts, making sign frames, assembly, and packaging. The installer works in and around the Carolinas and Georgia, travels regionally as needed, and represents Duncan-Parnell professionally when interacting with customers onsite. The position requires attention to detail and quality, safe use of tools and equipment, and compliance with OSHA safety guidelines. Installations may occasionally require use of scissor or boom lifts. The Field Installer maintains organization and cleanliness of inventory, the shop area, van, equipment, and work environment; communicates proactively with the team; and completes paperwork, checklists, logs, and installation photos. Additional duties may be assigned.

Requirements

Ability to lift 75 or more pounds.
Valid driver’s license with a good driving record and reliable transportation to work.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Light construction, carpentry, fabrication, or previous sign and graphics experience.

Responsibilities

Install signs in and around the Carolinas and Georgia with attention to detail and quality.
Prepare for installations by reviewing scope, staging materials, and pre-assembling signage at the shop.
Perform preparation work such as painting posts, making sign frames, assembling, and packaging signage.
Install exterior signs with posts, including 4x8 signs, V-signs, burmashaves, small parking signs, and banners.
Install interior signage, including acrylics, wayfinding signs, and impact logos.
Use tools such as drills, Sawzalls, and levels.
Read and understand maps, construction plans, assembly instructions, and measurements.
Maintain the organization and cleanliness of inventory, the shop area, van, equipment, and work environment.
Troubleshoot and resolve installation issues.
Interact with customers onsite and represent Duncan-Parnell professionally in the field.
Travel regionally as needed.
Communicate proactively with the team and complete paperwork, checklists, logs, and installation photos.
Use scissor lifts and boom lifts occasionally as required for installations.
Follow OSHA safety guidelines and operate tools and equipment safely.
Perform additional tasks as assigned.
