About The Position

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking hardworking, reliable individuals to join their traveling crew as Field Installers for Tents & Structures. This entry-level position involves the timely installation, maintenance, and repair of tents and related fabric structures. The role requires significant physical work, including lifting heavy equipment, and involves extensive travel throughout the US. Field Installers work closely with a Field Supervisor to transform empty lots into functional venues based on CAD diagrams, and will be trained to operate heavy equipment like forklifts and scissor lifts.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Must have a valid Driver's License with a Clean Driving Record.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test, a Job Site Hair follicle drug test that goes back 3 months, and a Criminal Background check.
  • Must be able to lift 50+ pounds while working outdoors.
  • Must be willing to Travel for work (80% travel required, 2-3 weeks on a job site, followed by 1 week off).
  • Must have basic Hand and Power Tool experience.
  • Must be able to bend, squat, crouch, reach and lift 50 plus pounds.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic mathematic skills.

Responsibilities

  • Timely installation of tents and related equipment.
  • Safe use of tents and related equipment.
  • Installation, takedown, and repairs of fabric structures.
  • Loading and unloading of equipment supply trucks.
  • Assemble and maintain fabric structures, hard-side walls, and custom framework.
  • Get certified to operate forklifts, scissor lifts, and man-baskets.
  • Work closely with a Field Supervisor to transform empty lots into functional venues based on CAD diagrams.
