About The Position

FAR Inspections is hiring an Inspector Coordinator to support a roster of independent inspectors working mortgage field service orders across the country. The role involves managing the flow of inspection orders to independent inspectors, monitoring open orders for potential delays, communicating with inspectors via Slack for status updates and issue resolution, responding to client emails for order updates, reassigning orders when necessary, and maintaining system records. The goal is to ensure properties are inspected and reports are submitted promptly.

Requirements

  • Above average proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including sorts, filters, lookups, and basic formulas.
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new software.
  • Strong written communication skills.
  • Ability to track a high volume of open items simultaneously without missing details.
  • Calm and professional demeanor when handling high workloads or unexpected issues.
  • Reliable home internet connection.
  • Quiet workspace.

Nice To Haves

  • Two or more years in a coordinator, dispatch, or operations role supporting independent contractors, field workers, or vendors.
  • Experience in property management or leasing.
  • Experience in insurance adjuster dispatch or claims coordination.
  • Experience in disaster restoration coordination.
  • Experience in staffing agency coordination (light industrial or healthcare per diem).
  • Experience in real estate transaction coordination.
  • Experience in restaurant or hotel operations.
  • Prior mortgage field services experience.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor open orders in the inspection management platform to identify those at risk of becoming late.
  • Communicate with inspectors via Slack to obtain status updates, answer questions, and confirm order completion.
  • Respond to client emails requesting updates on specific orders.
  • Reassign orders to backup inspectors when the assigned inspector cannot complete them.
  • Assist inspectors via phone calls who encounter issues in the field.
  • Keep system records updated as work progresses through the pipeline.
