Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 6+ years of Human Resource experience in progressively responsible leadership roles (will be considered in lieu of a bachelor's degree).
  • 4+ years in progressively responsible leadership roles within Human Resource management.
  • Minimum 3 years previous Human Resource Generalist or Employee Relations experience.
  • Solid working knowledge of principles and procedures.
  • Knowledge of business and management principles involved in leadership techniques, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
  • Knowledge of laws, government regulations, and requirements.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelors degree preferred in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Psychology, Organizational Leadership or similar study.
  • PHR Certification preferred.
  • Experience working in a construction or manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Follow safe work practices and company and client worksite policies.
  • Promote company core values to foster and safeguard a family-centric culture.
  • Assist in counseling employees and managers on the application and interpretation of company policies, practices, procedures, and applicable employment law.
  • Identify staff conflicts and suggest potential solutions for risk mitigation.
  • Enhance employee engagement by connecting employees to E2 Optics core values.
  • Manage the company's overall human resource administrative needs.
  • Manage HRIS System.
  • Manage SWAT operations staff internal travel communications.
  • Oversee all on-boarding and off-boarding activities, and provide insights to retain talent.
  • Stay informed about overall human resources laws, regulations, and procedures.
  • Ensure procedures are carried out and comply with employment laws and regulations.
  • Monitor the performance management program.
  • Lead benefits enrollment and yearly renewal.
  • Lead and develop Human Resource staff, focusing on policy interpretation, implementation, practices, procedures, and compliance.
  • Partner with and guide supervisors and leads in training, coaching, motivation, assisting with reporting requirements, identifying areas of improvement, proposing corrective actions, and holding leaders accountable for developing their people.
  • Communicate employment changes to HRD and other departments for employee on- and offboarding, status changes, and accommodations.
  • Provide management oversight to complete and track FMLA, Military leave, and LOA.
  • Compile Affirmative Action data and ensure its accuracy.
  • Assist Recruiters and Payroll Manager as needed.
