About The Position
National Grid is seeking a Temporary Field Helpers at our Lowville location at an hourly rate of $27.05. We are a major electricity and gas delivery company with one of the largest electricity transmission and distribution systems in the Northeast. Temporary Field Helpers will be expected to assist various crew operations in the field. Routine duties would include flagging at construction sites.
Requirements
- Must have a High School diploma or equivalent; AAS in Electrical Construction or equivalent electrical apprentice prefered.
- Line school certificate required, disqualifier
- Must pass pre-employment validated company test(s).
- Should have aptitude for mechanical work.
- Must be able to work in the outdoors and inclement weather.
- Must be able to walk over uneven terrain.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
Nice To Haves
- CDL A is preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform assorted manual labor tasks associated with the construction sites and other similar activities.
- Ability to use hand tools.
