About The Position
FASTSIGNS/Pittsburgh is looking for a mechanically-minded Field Lead who takes pride in owning a project from start to finish. This role is ideal for a Construction Lead, Carpenter, or Remodeler seeking a professional "home" in a specialized trade. The company values calm, logical problem-solving and provides a 35’ bucket truck, high-end tools, and digital tablets. Standard hours are Mon-Fri, 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM, but the Lead is expected to occasionally be flexible for early starts or working past 5:00 PM to ensure high-profile installs are completed perfectly.
Requirements
- 5+ years of Lead experience in Construction, Remodeling, or Skilled Trades.
- A clean driving record (Required for bucket truck insurance).
- Comfortable at heights and on ladders.
- Mechanically-minded.
- Understanding of structural anchoring, substrates (brick, block, EIFS), and basic electrical.
- Unshakeable reliability and consistent attendance.
Responsibilities
- Own a project from start to finish.
- Ensure high-profile installs are completed perfectly.
- Find professional, safe ways to solve job site surprises without losing your cool.
- Ensure work is level, plumb, and permanent.
- Communicate clearly with business owners and site managers.
