About The Position

The Field Engineer is responsible for providing timely maintenance of all POS, Broadband, PC, and telephone system hardware in all restaurants within their assigned region. This role ensures the optimal use of these systems through hardware maintenance, including service calls for specific problems and preventive maintenance. The position also involves providing technical support to restaurants and the Help Desk, transporting equipment and parts, performing system upgrades, and assisting with various company initiatives outside of the assigned region as needed. Additionally, the Field Engineer will install equipment in new restaurants and manage equipment in major remodels, all while representing Boddie-Noell Enterprises, Inc. professionally.

Requirements

• Live in or near Kingsport, TN, Gate City, VA or Southwestern, VA area.
• Veterans and those with previous military experience are encouraged to apply!

Responsibilities

• Provide hardware maintenance as required in the restaurant including service calls for specific problems or preventive maintenance.
• Provide weekend support as scheduled.
• Provide technical support to restaurant and the Help Desk, whenever called on to discuss.
• Transport all equipment and parts used for repairs and maintain an adequate inventory of parts and supplies for hardware maintenance in assigned restaurants.
• Perform system upgrades and modifications as required.
• Respond and assist, when randomly assigned, in staffing shortages, new equipment rollouts, emergencies, natural disasters, training, etc., outside of assigned region.
• Install equipment in new restaurants and remove, refurbish and reinstall equipment in major remodels.
• Consistently exhibit the actions/behaviors which best demonstrate BNE’s Vision and Values; perform other tasks as directed by management; and at all times represent Boddie-Noell Enterprises, Inc. as a professional in every aspect of performance.
