About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Field Engineer to join our onsite team for a military fuels demolition project. The Field Engineer will work closely with the Quality Control Manager, Deputy Project Manager, and Superintendents to support the successful execution of the project. This role involves assisting with communication with the client (NAVFAC HI), writing CONOPS, developing procedures, procurement of material, designing of field equipment and material, and solving problems related to the demolition project.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Discipline
  • Proven experience in field engineering, preferably within the construction or demolition sectors.
  • Understanding of military fueling systems and processes a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to write clear and concise CONOPS and procedures.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Experience working with government clients is a plus.
  • Autodesk AutoCad experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing the day-to-day operations of fuel infrastructure demolition project, ensuring compliance with all safety and quality standards.
  • Support the Quality Control Manager in monitoring project quality and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Work closely with the Deputy Project Manager and Superintendents to coordinate project activities and resources.
  • Aid in communicating with the client (NAVFAC HI), providing updates and addressing any concerns or issues.
  • Write and maintain CONOPS, procedures, and other project documentation.
  • Identify and resolve issues that arise during the project, ensuring minimal disruption to the project timeline.
  • Ensure all field activities comply with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Assist in preparing and presenting progress reports to project stakeholders.
  • Record and log all engineering decisions with clear backup and reasoning.
  • Materials procurement and tracking.
  • On site inventory tracking and organization.
