As a Field Engineer, you will be the technical heartbeat of the concrete operations, ensuring work is executed to design specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.

Requirements

  • Proficiency with robotic total stations is required.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret construction plans/drawings.
  • Willingness to work a typical 6:00 am – 4:00 pm schedule, with flexibility for extended hours or weekends based on project needs.
  • Ability to travel to various project sites as required.
  • Proactive, positive attitude and a strong commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize robotic total stations and GPS to lay out grids, wall lines, footing corners, and anchor bolts.
  • Monitor daily concrete operations, including placement, finishing, and curing.
  • Identify and resolve field issues related to concrete performance or constructability.
  • Perform site inspections and testing (slump, air content, temperature, etc.).
  • Act as the bridge between project managers, superintendents, and subcontractors to maintain tight schedules.
  • Maintain accurate project logs, reports, and drawings while providing technical guidance to crews.
