About The Position

As a Field Diesel Mechanic – Customer Equipment Solutions (Service Tech III - Field Service - CES), you will perform maintenance and repairs on complex equipment, including customer-owned equipment, with limited or no supervision. You will work in a highly skilled, safe, and professional manner and provide exceptional customer service. The role may offer opportunities to work toward leadership positions in the Service Department.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
At least 5 years of experience repairing or maintaining equipment and tools.
Advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools.
Knowledge of construction equipment and a strong mechanical background, including knowledge of various engines.
Advanced understanding of schematics and diagrams.
Must own tools applicable to the position.
Superior customer service, teamwork, and verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to frequently lift items weighing up to 45 lbs.

Responsibilities

Maintain and repair complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on a variety of rental and customer equipment and tools, using independent judgment.
Travel to customer job sites to repair and maintain customer-owned equipment, and keep the service vehicle clean and professional.
Assist in training lower-level technicians as needed.
Complete paperwork and electronic documentation of work performed, including work orders, accurately and promptly each day.
Upsell and demonstrate a wide array of complex equipment to customers.
Assist with equipment and parts pickup and delivery.
Perform other duties as assigned.
