About The Position

This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy focused, independent work and prefer a self-directed role. Candidates with experience in mapping, property appraisal, inspections, GIS, data collection, data entry, land surveying, or any outdoor, detail-oriented fieldwork tend to excel. The role requires comfort with ladders (up to 30 feet), an appreciation for technology, and enjoyment of working solo. The job involves 100% travel, primarily regional, with expectations of being home most weekends. All major travel expenses, including lodging, fuel, meals, and mileage, are fully covered. The company provides all necessary equipment, from advanced tech devices to measurement tools, to enable efficient independent work. The day-to-day involves independently driving or flying to commercial properties to capture precise data using 3D cameras, laser measurement tools, and specialized software. This data includes building measurements, sprinkler and HVAC locations, windows, signage, landscaping, utility meters, dumpsters, parking details, and interior/exterior features. A significant portion of the time is dedicated to gathering data, taking measurements, and inputting data with accuracy. Communication with property managers for access information is necessary, and while communication is minimal, assertiveness and proactive outreach to a Regional Manager, as well as asking questions to trainers, mentors, and peers, are important. Remote communication is typically brief, professional, and clear.

Experience in mapping, property appraisal, inspections, GIS, data collection, data entry, land surveying, or any outdoor, detail-oriented fieldwork
Experience in site surveys, inspections, CAD, or GIS mapping, and data entry
Experience in construction, HVAC, electrical, or similar hands-on fields
Experience in land surveying, utility locating, archaeology, drone photography, or other remote fieldwork
