About The Position

The Field Crew member is responsible for field maintenance at baseball and softball complexes for the Reviving Baseball in the Inner Cities KC Metro Sports Leagues. This is a seasonal, non-exempt position that reports to the Baseball/Softball Coordinator. Duties include maintaining fields, grounds, and restroom facilities, operating equipment and sprinkler systems, and providing general maintenance support as delegated by the RBI Director and Manager.

Requirements

• Relevant experience in field maintenance.
• Ability to operate a Sand Pro machine and mark baseball fields.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to practice proper safety precautions.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Mark baseball fields.
• Drive and operate a Sand Pro machine.
• Transport equipment.
• Maintain the field landscape and grounds.
• Pack field mounds.
• Clean and maintain complex restroom facilities.
• Operate the sprinkler system.
• Empty trash.
• Provide general maintenance support as delegated by the RBI Director and Manager.
