About The Position

Fusion Solutions is seeking a Field Construction Manager for Ericsson in Overland Park, KS, to support AT&T. This role is responsible for all Civil Works and associated financial control through scheduling, Service Provider/Associate Service Provider (SP/ASP) management, and Quality Management on a given project. The Field Construction Manager will ensure that all Service Providers adhere to Ericsson standards, processes, and procedures, as well as all Federal and Local standards. This position also identifies continuous improvement opportunities and interfaces with external parties such as ASP/SP and Customer PM, as well as internal interfaces like IM Lead, Project Admin, Project Sponsor, and CPM.

Requirements

Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in project builds of over 100 sites.
Good knowledge and skills in identifying and solving defined problems using existing procedures, techniques, and methods.
Understanding of the necessity for improvement and change.
Knowledge in workers safety and work environment safety.
Ability to interpret and comply with civil design plans.
Ability to supervise, coordinate, and monitor works with Service Providers and other disciplines.

Responsibilities

Assess and control charges to the agreed site design.
Assure that only Customer-approved materials are installed on the project.
Ensure that the agreed Civil Works guidelines and schedules are followed and enforced.
Attend coordination and progress meetings.
Maintain awareness and provide on-site supervision during periods of high risk of disturbances in customer site performance.
Check that the working environment is maintained at an acceptable level, carry out safety inspections, and ensure that tools are in good working condition.
Perform Civil Works problem-solving as required during the project.
Coordinate site activities and ensure that all disciplines involved in the project are aligned with Project goals and objectives.
Drive schedule activities and trouble-shooting results.
Ensure that Service Providers and vendors/suppliers meet all technical specifications according to E/// and customer specifications.
Ensure that the workmanship quality of installations by Service Providers is within the Contract, Ericsson standards, and Customer expectations.
Enforce all Ericsson, Federal, Local, and customer safety guidelines and construction procedures during the entire Civil Works phase of the project.
Perform site pre-inspections and coordinate post-construction audits.
Perform site verification.
Perform visual inspection of quality on site.
Prepare regular interval progress reports as required by the project.
Provide accurate status information on progress to project management.
Provide technical assistance to Service Providers and other suppliers involved in Civil Works activities.
Reject wrong deliveries of material to site.
Report bad performance and quality on site.
Be responsible for the proper interpretation and compliance of the civil design plans.
Supervise, coordinate, and monitor works with Service Providers and other disciplines interfacing with the Civil Works part of the project.
Provide team leadership focusing on quality and results.
Write claims, order, and return materials.
Maintain and update construction-specific areas of Site Handler, including SOW and preconstruction documents, NTP receipt verification, RFDS submission review and changes, Civils acceptance documents, Civils progress PFA verification, and close-out document review and acceptance sign-off.
