About The Position

Fusion Solutions is looking for a Field Construction Manager for Ericsson in Overland Park, KS for AT&T. This role is accountable for all Civil Works and associated financial control via Scheduling (time), SP/ASP and Quality Management on a given project. The Field Construction Manager will ensure that all Service Providers are adhering to Ericsson standards, processes and procedures, as well as all Federal and Local standards, and identifies continuous improvement opportunities. This role interfaces with external parties such as ASP/SP and Customer PM, and internal interfaces include IM Lead, Project Admin, Project Sponsor, and CPM.

Requirements

Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in job-related experience with project builds of over 100 sites.
Good knowledge and skills.
Ability to identify and solve defined problems that require little or no analysis by using existing procedures, techniques, and methods.
Understanding the necessity for improvement and change.
Ability to work under supervision and within a given framework and time schedule.

Responsibilities

Assess and control charges to the agreed site design.
Assure that only Customer-approved materials are installed on the project.
Assure that the agreed Civil Works guidelines and schedules are followed and enforced.
Attend coordination and progress meetings.
Maintain awareness and provide on-site supervision during periods of high risk of disturbances in customer site performance.
Check that the working environment is maintained at an acceptable level, carry out safety inspections, and ensure that tools are in good working condition.
Perform Civil Works problem-solving as required during the project.
Coordinate site activities and ensure that all disciplines directly involved in the project are in phase with the Project goals and objectives.
Drive schedule activities and trouble-shooting results.
Ensure that Service Providers and vendors/suppliers meet all technical specifications with respect to E/// and customer specifications.
Ensure that the workmanship quality of installations done by Service Providers is within the Contract, Ericsson standards, and Customer expectations.
Ensure that all Ericsson, Federal, Local, and customer safety guidelines and construction procedures are enforced during the entire Civil Works phase of the project.
Provide knowledge in workers safety and work environment safety.
Perform site pre-inspections and coordinate post-construction audits.
Perform site verification.
Perform visual inspection of quality on site.
Prepare regular interval progress reports as required by the project.
Provide accurate status information on progress to project management.
Provide technical assistance to Service Providers and any other suppliers associated with Civil Works activities.
Reject wrong deliveries of material to site.
Report bad performance and quality on site.
Be responsible for the proper interpretation and compliance of the civil design plans.
Supervise, coordinate, and monitor works with Service Providers and other disciplines interfacing with the Civil Works part of the project.
Provide team leadership focusing on quality and results.
Write claims, order and return materials.
Maintain and update construction-specific areas of Site Handler, including but not limited to SOW and preconstruction documents (NTP, SOW, RFDS, safety guidance, QA standards, etc.), NTP receipt verification, RFDS submission review and changes, Civils acceptance documents, submission receipt, review and approval, Civils progress PFA verification (daily), and Close out document review and acceptance sign off.
