About The Position

Coach Across America and the Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation (LADF) are seeking Field Champion coaches for the Dodgers Dreamteam program in Los Angeles County. This program uses the power of sport to provide critical resources and services to communities experiencing social injustices. The program aims to increase youth's social and emotional skills, promote positive mental health, and build relationships with peers and positive role models. LADF also works with partners to deliver wraparound services addressing health and education needs. Coach Across America (CAA) is a national service program that challenges individuals to give back by coaching and mentoring underserved youth, completing an AmeriCorps term and using sports to inspire kids to stay in school, stay out of trouble, and stay healthy. CAA coaches are trained in Sports-Based Youth Development (SBYD) and equipped to work with underserved youth.
