About The Position

Buildots is seeking a Field Capture Technician to operate reality capture equipment, specifically 360 cameras and other surveying equipment, on construction sites. The technician will be responsible for fully capturing construction sites using various equipment and methodologies to ensure data is effectively analyzed by Buildots algorithms. This is a part-time position for a hardworking, responsible, and motivated individual with a passion for fieldwork.

Requirements

• Availability for at least 3 full working days per week starting immediately during daytime.
• On-site presence required at the project site located in Rayville, Louisiana (71269) on those days.
• Willingness and ability to work on construction sites with challenging conditions.
• The job requires a lot of walking and some physical work.
• A valid driver’s license is required, as on-site operations will involve driving company-provided vehicles.
• Be personable, communicative, independent, and reliable.
• Flexible and problem-solving attitude.
• Candidates must be willing to undergo a background check as part of the hiring process.

Nice To Haves

• Fieldwork experience and technical orientation are advantages.
• Background in Surveying, Photography, or Construction is a big advantage.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently capture a large-scale construction site using a 360° camera.
• Communicate and document the work being done on the construction site.
• Maintain personal safety and the safety of the site and equipment, adhering to all safety precautions.
