About The Position

The Field Atlas Ambassador program is a paid, part-time internship opportunity for high-energy, creative, and self-motivated students. This role aims to increase awareness of the Field Atlas platform through on-campus initiatives. Field Atlas is a career exploration platform designed to help college students explore, learn, and connect with prospective career paths in the agbioscience industry. Ambassadors act as peer connectors, introducing students to degree pathways, career opportunities, companies, and internships within the agbioscience sector. They also connect peers to Field Atlas experiences like campus activations, company tours, and the Agbioscience Mentorship Program (AMP). This position offers professional development, industry education, and mentorship opportunities.

Requirements

Currently enrolled at an Indiana postsecondary institution.
Authorized to work in the United States.
Proven ability in building relationships and making connections with peers and professionals.
Must be able to and willing to travel to and from meetings, career fairs, and developmental activities.
Must have reliable access to internet connectivity, a laptop computer, and a phone.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to network with a diverse range of students, professors, and advisors on campus.
Demonstrated proficiency in work-based programs (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Zoom, Outlook).
Exhibits excellent self-management skills and accomplishes tasks with limited supervision.
Has extensive knowledge of the Field Atlas platform and the agbioscience industry; demonstrates an ability to tell the sector story in a compelling and impactful way.

Responsibilities

Create and implement a growth marketing strategy for their campus in collaboration with the Career Success Manager.
Present the online platform and experiences to students in clubs, organizations, and college classes.
Meet independently with academic advisors, professors, staff, and students to introduce Field Atlas and agbioscience.
Create and share agbioscience stories through photos, videos, and native content for the platform.
Complete individual projects that promote Field Atlas and drive traffic to the website.
Maintain accurate reporting to measure the success of the ambassador network.
Assist the Career Success Manager at career fairs and other events as needed.
