About The Position
R. Christopher Goodwin & Associates, Inc. has openings for durational field archaeologists. This position will require travel for which single occupancy lodging and per diem reimbursements of $45 per day will be provided. This position is a durational appointment, ending upon completion of the project.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Archaeology, Anthropology, or a related field
- Completed an accredited archaeological field school
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work well with others and be a proactive part of a project team
- Detailed note-taking skills
- A valid driver's license
Nice To Haves
- Previous fieldwork experience preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Follow direction from Project Management and Operations Personnel to execute archeological field work within a project area and complete documentation of the field efforts undertaken.
