Sol-ArkAllen, TX

About The Position

This is an entry-level position for anyone interested in joining the Sol-Ark sales team as a “junior-level” Field Application Engineer (FAE). The FAE is a core member of the Sales organization, serving as a technical partner to customers and the sales team. This role combines deep product knowledge with relationship-driven support to help our installer, distributor, and EPC partners design and deploy best-in-class Sol-Ark systems. The initial responsibilities for the role will be primarily focused on field support of new residential and commercial BESS. In time, it will evolve to fully encompass the additional responsibilities of a FAE as listed below under Key Responsibilities. FAEs guide customers through design reviews, installation best practices, and advanced troubleshooting, ensuring every project meets both technical and business objectives. They also act as the Voice of the Customer, providing structured field feedback to our internal Product and Applications Engineering teams to drive continuous improvement. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role ideal for professionals who can blend technical acumen with communication skills — helping customers succeed before, during, and after the sale.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Regional Sales Managers to provide pre-sales technical consultation and system design support.

  • Collaborate with Product and Applications Engineering to refine installation standards and technical collateral.
  • Identify opportunities to proactively solve customer problems and propose scalable solutions before they escalate.
  • Support trade shows, roadshows, and sales presentations as the technical subject matter expert.
