We are seeking a dynamic Field Applications Engineer - Robotics to join our Robotics Solutions team. This commissioned sales role combines deep technical expertise with strategic sales acumen to drive revenue growth in the rapidly expanding robotics market. You'll work directly with leading robotics OEMs to identify opportunities, provide technical guidance, and ensure successful product integration from design to production.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or related technical field
  • 5+ years of experience in the following: Robotics industry
  • Technical sales experience with enterprise/OEM customers
  • Proven track record of achieving/exceeding sales targets (10M+ annual quota preferred)
  • Working directly with Robotics OEMs in design scenarios
  • Background in semiconductor, embedded systems, or related technology sectors

Nice To Haves

  • MBA preferred
  • 4+ years of experience with: Intel products and technologies
  • Existing relationships within the robotics OEM ecosystem
  • Background in systems integration or solution selling
  • International business experience
  • Strong understanding of robotics architectures, sensors, actuators, and control systems
  • Knowledge of edge computing, AI/ML inference, and real-time processing requirements
  • Familiarity with robotics software frameworks (ROS, ROS2, etc.)
  • Understanding of industrial automation, autonomous vehicles, or service robotics markets
  • Experience with Intel or competitive processor architectures

Responsibilities

  • Drive new design-win opportunities and provide co-engineering support to achieve production revenue
  • Leverage deep product portfolio knowledge to accelerate sales in established and emerging robotics markets
  • Cultivate strategic relationships with OEMs, distributors, and ecosystem partners
  • Develop compelling product demonstrations and assist in design reviews during customer visits
  • Analyze technical data to resolve customer issues and provide feedback to internal teams
  • Achieve annual sales targets of $10M+ through strategic account management
  • Translate complex technical requirements into actionable business solutions
