Field and Community Recruiter

Care IndeedCampbell, CA
$24 - $28Onsite

About The Position

Care Indeed exists to help create a better world for seniors and their caregivers. As our Field & Community Recruiter, you are Care Indeed’s face in the community — the person schools, churches, senior centers, and local organizations know by name, and the reason their referrals come to us first. You support two pipelines: caregivers for Home Care, and students into CI Institute of Nursing’s CNA training — where they can certify, join Home Care, and grow. Most agencies compete for finished candidates. We build ours, in person, one relationship at a time.

Requirements

  • Confident representing Care Indeed in public — presenting to groups, staffing booths, and building rapport with school staff, faith and community leaders, and partners.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication; good interviewing and organizational skills.
  • Self-directed in the field — able to plan a territory outreach calendar and manage a partner pipeline independently.
  • Familiarity with the home care industry and the challenge of hiring qualified caregivers and CNAs.
  • Working knowledge of federal/state laws governing interviewing, hiring, and the ADA; able to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred.
  • Comfort with an ATS/CRM and modern recruiting tools.
  • Valid CA driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
  • Associate’s degree in Human Resources, business, or a related area required.
  • Two or more years of recruitment, outreach, or community-facing experience preferred (healthcare or high-volume a plus).
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, strong organization, and confidentiality.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Get out into the community and build a steady, qualified talent pipeline through in-person presence: Staff tables at career and job fairs, present at CNA schools and high schools, and build lasting relationships with churches, community organizations, and senior centers.
  • Plan according to seasonal hiring demands — CNA cohort start dates and caregiver hiring surges.
  • Reinforce Care Indeed’s culture so every person you meet feels welcomed and proud to join.
  • Man tables at career and job fairs, present at CNA schools, high schools, and adult-education/ROP programs, and build standing relationships with churches, faith and cultural organizations, senior centers, and workforce-development boards that refer candidates and students to Care Indeed.
  • Engage candidates in the field, conduct in-person interviews, assess Core Values fit, verify credentials, and recommend for hire or CNA enrollment.
  • Keep candidate records accurate and audit-ready, hand off new hires to onboarding/NEO, and follow up to keep them engaged through their first day.
