About The Position

CAM Industrial Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Field Accounting Administrative Professional to provide time entry, payroll, workforce administration, and outage support for work at our Fort Saskatchewan site. This temporary staff role will support outage execution by ensuring labour records are accurate, timely, and properly aligned with operational, payroll, and project reporting requirements. The successful candidate will work closely with Operations, Field Supervision, Payroll, HR, Accounting, and site leadership in a fast-paced industrial maintenance environment. Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) and AES is considered an asset.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in administrative support, accounting, payroll, project controls, or a related field.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and Outlook.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to manage large volumes of data accurately.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential employee, payroll, and business information with discretion.
  • Ability to work independently while supporting a larger field execution team.

  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365).
  • Experience with AES time entry or workforce management processes.
  • Previous industrial maintenance, construction, turnaround, or outage experience.
  • Experience supporting unionized craft workforces.
  • Knowledge of payroll, labour tracking, billing support, or field accounting processes.

Responsibilities

  • Review, validate, and support the processing of employee time entries for outage and maintenance personnel.
  • Ensure labour hours are accurate, complete, and submitted within required payroll timelines.
  • Work with supervisors to identify and resolve timekeeping discrepancies, missing entries, coding issues, and approval gaps.
  • Support payroll administration activities, including time entry validation, reporting, and issue resolution.
  • Track and report items such as overtime, absenteeism, callouts, consecutive days worked, and other labour-related requirements as needed.
  • Respond to employee and supervisor payroll or timekeeping inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
  • Support time entry, data validation, and reporting activities in AES.
  • Assist with labour, cost, and project administration activities in Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365).
  • Identify data inconsistencies and coordinate corrections with the appropriate functional teams.
  • Generate reports or summaries to support outage execution, payroll validation, and site leadership review.
  • Maintain accurate workforce rosters, employee records, and outage support documentation.
  • Assist with onboarding, employee changes, transfers, demobilization, and related administrative processes.
  • Support document control, electronic filing, and records retention requirements.
  • Coordinate with field supervision and site administration to ensure employee and payroll information remains current.
  • Provide general administrative support to site leadership and outage teams as required.
  • Assist with labour tracking, daily or weekly workforce summaries, and outage reporting requirements.
  • Support project cost and billing documentation by maintaining complete and accurate labour records.
  • Help prepare reports for operations, payroll, accounting, and client-facing support teams as required.
  • Participate in outage closeout activities, including records review and final payroll or reporting support.
