As a Fiduciary Accounting Manager at BPM, you'll serve as a trusted advisor to high-net-worth families, trusts, estates, and fiduciary entities, helping clients navigate complex accounting, reporting, and administrative responsibilities with confidence. In this leadership role, you'll oversee fiduciary accounting engagements from planning through delivery, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with fiduciary standards, and exceptional client service. You'll partner closely with trustees, wealth advisors, attorneys, and internal professionals while mentoring and developing team members, helping clients preserve and manage wealth across generations. Your expertise will drive operational excellence, strengthen client relationships, and provide the financial insight needed to support informed decision-making for sophisticated fiduciary structures. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 7+ years of fiduciary accounting, trust administration, estate administration, or related experience.
  • Experience preparing and reviewing fiduciary accountings.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Experience supervising and mentoring staff.
  • Exceptional client service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Nice To Haves

  • CPA designation.
  • Experience with California fiduciary accountings and California Probate Code requirements.
  • Public accounting or professional services experience.
  • Experience working with offshore or distributed teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead fiduciary accounting engagements for trusts, estates, conservatorships, and guardianships, ensuring timely delivery and exceptional client service.
  • Review fiduciary accountings, trustee reports, and supporting schedules for accuracy, quality, and compliance with fiduciary and court requirements.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to trustees, beneficiaries, attorneys, family offices, and other professional advisors, resolving complex accounting and administration matters.
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop team members across the U.S. and India, providing ongoing coaching, technical guidance, and performance feedback.
  • Manage engagement budgets, staffing, workflow, and deadlines while maintaining high-quality deliverables and client satisfaction.
  • Drive operational excellence by developing processes, training programs, and best practices that enhance efficiency and consistency across the practice.
  • Support the growth of BPM's Fiduciary Accounting Services practice through relationship building, business development activities, and identifying opportunities to expand services for existing clients.
