About The Position

Tipmont has a unique opportunity for a Fiber Construction Crew Member. This role involves a mix of hands-on work and strategic problem-solving related to the construction and maintenance of fiber-internet infrastructure. The crew oversees day-to-day operations, assists with repairs during storms or disasters, and provides essential services to local families, farms, businesses, and communities. The position offers on-the-job training, educational opportunities, and collaboration with experienced colleagues.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Valid driver’s license and be insurable for use of company vehicles.
Must be able to work in all types of weather conditions.
Must be able to work long hours, as occasionally required.
Must be able to lift/carry up to 75 pounds.
Must be able to climb ladder and/or work in bucket truck.
Thrives in a team environment.

Nice To Haves

Excels in outdoor work and hands-on tasks.
Interest / experience in climbing poles and using various tools / machinery (e.g., plow, trencher, excavator).
Flexibility to assume, and complete, a variety of responsibilities.

Responsibilities
