About The Position

WECTEC Staffing Services, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Westinghouse Electric Company LLC, is seeking an FFD Specialist for a full-time, short-term contract role (July - Sept/Oct). This position reports to the client's supervisor and is responsible for collecting specimens for drug and alcohol testing, addressing challenging collection scenarios, and preparing specimens for shipment. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, successful completion of specific training, and the ability to pass various screenings. This is a local hire position with no per diem or relocation offered.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Successful completion of breath alcohol test and urine collection training with a passing grade of 80% or higher.
Be able to pass criminal background, drug/alcohol screen (including medical and recreational marijuana and CBD oil), and employment testing.

Responsibilities

Collect breath alcohol specimens using a handheld Evidential Breath Testing (EBT) unit; if a confirmatory test is needed, then conduct the test using a printer unit.
Collect urine specimens for drug analysis by an HHS-certified laboratory.
Address “problem” collections, such as collections involving “shy lung,” “shy bladder,” and subversion attempts.
Prepare urine specimens for shipment to the laboratory.
Prepare collection sites for drug/alcohol testing.
Conduct other tasks as assigned.
