Key responsibilities include expediting priority product, resolving pick and ship errors, training associates on equipment, and completing incident reports. The supervisor also identifies and implements process improvements, monitors staffing needs, conducts shift briefings, and communicates effectively with associates regarding business objectives. They monitor productivity, drive continuous improvement through coaching, approve off-standard hours, set goals, provide feedback, and offer developmental opportunities. Additionally, the supervisor participates in the hiring process, trains new hires, resolves associate conflicts, sponsors change initiatives, responds to incidents, and collaborates with other operational shifts for consistency.
