The Fetal Cardiology Nurse Coordinator leads the coordination of care for patients with fetal congenital heart disease, working across multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless prenatal and postnatal planning. This role manages all aspects of prenatal care—including testing, counseling, care transfers, and procedure coordination—while advocating for patients and developing individualized care plans. The coordinator collaborates closely with physicians, nurses, referring providers, and hospital staff to ensure timely communication of clinical information and alignment on care and delivery plans. Responsibilities also include maintaining patient tracking systems, monitoring fetal echocardiograms across multiple sites, supporting high-risk deliveries, and serving as the primary point of contact for patient and family communication. The position supports continuous quality improvement, contributes to research initiatives, and fosters a patient-centered environment aligned with organizational goals for excellence and service. At least three years of pediatric cardiology experience is required.
