About The Position

The City of O'Fallon is seeking energetic and dependable team members for the position of Festival Maintenance Worker. This part-time opportunity is a hands-on position with general maintenance and electrical experience preferred. This position aides with the maintenance and operation of O'Fallon's Holiday Light Display, Celebration of Lights. As part of the Recreation Division, this position plays an important role in one of the City's largest events of the Tourism and Festivals Department. Requirements

Comfortable working with electricity and hand/power tools
Availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays is required
Exhibit self-motivation by always looking for ways to improve their knowledge and skills
Show great respect for others and their property
Maintain their assigned equipment with care
Have a valid driver's license

Nice To Haves

General maintenance and electrical experience is preferred

Responsibilities

Assisting in the preparation and set up/tear down of festival and event grounds
Installing, maintaining and/or repairing holiday lights
Constructing scenery for the holiday light display
Using basic hand tools
Assuring light displays are working properly, taking corrective action when necessary
Providing information and top notice customer service to patrons
