Fertility (RN) Nurse Coordinator
About The Position
US Fertility is hiring a Fertility RN Nurse Coordinator for Reproductive Medicine Associates of New York Long Island. The position is based in Melville, New York, and floats to New Hyde Park, New York (Lake Success). The coordinator assists with fertility patient coordination, case management, and treatment; monitors patients throughout treatment plans; and provides direction, education, and compassionate support to patients and families. The role also communicates physician orders and instructions and laboratory results with appropriate interpretation and explanation, and documents care in patient and department records. The stated weekday schedule is Monday through Friday, either 7:00 AM–3:30 PM or 7:30 AM–4:00 PM Eastern Time, with a Saturday, Sunday, and holiday rotation. Compensation is up to $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN) required.
- Current state RN license without limitations required.
- Current New York State Certification (Yellow/diploma-like document) required.
- Ability to manage a caseload of patients.
- BLS and/or ACLS certification.
- Computer proficiency.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team and build and maintain effective working relationships.
- Strong customer service skills and a results-oriented, highly responsive approach.
Nice To Haves
- BSN or master's degree in nursing preferred.
- IVF/fertility experience and a background in women's health preferred.
Responsibilities
