We are seeking an experienced Fertility/IVF Nurse to support our growing team across our Houston and new Woodlands locations. Requirements

• Active RN license without limitations - required
• Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings - required
• Microsoft Office proficiency
• Electronic Medical Records (EMR) experience

Nice To Haves

• BSN Degree— highly preferred
• BCLS and/or ACLS and/or IV certification – preferred
• 2+ years experience working as a Fertility/IVF Nurse – highly preferred

Responsibilities

• Assists with coordination of care, management, and treatment of fertility patients.
• Implements Provider directives through management of diagnostic and clinical treatment plans.
• Provides care for assigned patients by applying appropriate RMA workflows, policies and clinical practice guidelines: Reviews medical records and lab results.
• Ensures accurate data is entered into the EMR.
• Communicates test results and patient instructions.
• Provide patient education throughout all aspects of the treatment journey.
• Sets appropriate expectations, educates patient/couple on testing, treatment options and RMA processes.
• Maintains accurate and timely documentation of patient care services in the EMR.
• Demonstrates skills and judgment necessary to implement the plan of care.
• Performs nursing interventions and procedures as necessary to promote the care and safety of the patient.
• Establishes a compassionate environment by providing emotional and psychological support to patients; comforts patients by anticipating their anxieties, answering questions and addressing concerns.
• Participates in the education and training of nurses.
• Mentors peers.
• Promotes a collaborative and productive environment both intra-departmentally as well as inter-departmentally.
• Assists provider with in-office procedures, as needed.
