About The Position

The Nurse Manager is a professional, experienced Reproductive Endocrinology Infertility (REI) Nurse, who supervises and directs nursing care and all related activities according to the policies, procedures, philosophy, and objectives of the Nursing Department. In this role, you will participate as a member of the management team in strategic planning, policy formation, and administrative decision making with particular reference to the role, functions, and operations of nursing services.

Requirements

  • Current, unrestricted State RN license
  • Graduate from an accredited BSN program.
  • 3+ years’ experience in infertility medicine
  • Knowledge and experience in implementing Federal, State and Local laws and regulations relative to a physician practice
  • Microsoft Office: Word, PowerPoint, Excel
  • Electronic Medical Records (EMR) experience
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Meticulous organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Solid work ethic and ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Superior time-management, customer service, and critical-thinking skills

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s in nursing or healthcare administration
  • BLS and/or ACLS
  • Previous leadership experience

Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with Clinic Director(s) to devise and implement a strategic plan that focuses on the quality of patient care rendered, an improved patient experience and the best possible clinical outcomes, maximizing productivity of the nursing staff, highlighting opportunities for continuous improvement, and identifying challenges/ risks that require corrective action.
  • Identifies, develops, and facilitates goals and objectives for the Nursing Department, as well as for individual nurses, that promote professional growth and improved performance.
  • Develops, reviews and revises Nursing Workflows, Standing Orders and Clinical Practice Guidelines in collaboration with Medical Affairs.
  • Hosts periodic REI Nurse Administrator and/or monthly Nursing Meetings.
  • Ensures Nursing staff remains up to date on business items, clinic operations, workflows, Standards of Practice, and Clinical Practice Guidelines.
  • Identifies knowledge gaps and coordinates with the Education/QA Team to provide continuing nursing education.
  • Maintains leadership presence at all clinic locations through scheduled site visits (quarterly or with increased frequency as needed).
  • Monitors and reports department KPIs.
  • Ensures all offices are staffed appropriately and patient assignments are consistently distributed.
  • Appropriately forecasts the need for additional headcount based on growth projections.
  • Ensure team members have the necessary training for proper performance and development.
  • Maintain organization of team members’ timesheets, PTO, etc. to ensure that tasks are properly carried out.
  • Transmit the Company’s policies (health and safety, labor legislation, training, etc.) to ensure compliance.
  • Serve as RMA spokesperson for nursing matters.
  • Represent the Company with professional nursing and related professional organizations.
