Requirements
- Active RN license without limitations - required
- Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings - required
- Microsoft Office proficiency
- Electronic Medical Records (EMR) experience
Nice To Haves
- BSN Degree— highly preferred
- BCLS and/or ACLS and/or IV certification – preferred
- 2+ years fertility experience working as a nurse – highly preferred
- Prior experience in women’s healthcare – preferred
Responsibilities
- Assists with coordination of care, management, and treatment of fertility patients.
- Implements Provider directives through management of diagnostic and clinical treatment plans.
- Provides care for assigned patients by applying appropriate RMA workflows, policies and clinical practice guidelines.
- Reviews medical records and lab results.
- Ensures accurate data is entered into the EMR.
- Communicates test results and patient instructions.
- Provide patient education throughout all aspects of the treatment journey.
- Sets appropriate expectations, educates patient/couple on testing, treatment options and RMA processes.
- Maintains accurate and timely documentation of patient care services in the EMR.
- Demonstrates skills and judgment necessary to implement the plan of care.
- Performs nursing interventions and procedures as necessary to promote the care and safety of the patient.
- Establishes a compassionate environment by providing emotional and psychological support to patients; comforts patients by anticipating their anxieties, answering questions and addressing concerns.
- Participates in the education and training of nurses.
- Mentors peers.
- Promotes a collaborative and productive environment both intra-departmentally as well as inter-departmentally.
- Assists provider with in-office procedures, as needed.
