About The Position

As a Fence Installer, you’ll play a crucial hands-on role in site setup, utilizing power and hand tools to install and remove temporary fencing according to job specifications. As a key representative of Sunbelt Rentals in the field, your focus on safety, efficiency, and exceptional customer service will drive our success—even under tight deadlines. This is a physically active, outdoor role where no two days are the same. Complete training will be provided to set you up for success!
Requirements
- Comfortable performing heavy outdoor labor in various weather conditions and physically handling panels weighing 50–80 lbs.
- Familiarity with basic hand and power tools (drills, power washers, post drivers, banding equipment).
- Strong communication skills, a team-oriented mindset, and the motivation to get the job done right.
- Dependable personal transportation to reach job sites daily.
Nice To Haves
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record capable of passing a Commercial Motor Vehicle (CMV) check (not required, but strongly preferred!).
- Experience operating a forklift or one-ton truck.
Responsibilities
- Safely set up, maintain, and dismantle temporary fencing and accessories at customer sites.
- Accurately complete essential job paperwork (JHAs, site checklists, truck inventory logs).
- Partner with Lead Fence Technicians and Operations Managers to navigate safely and efficiently to job sites.
- Maintain a clean, hazard-free workplace and company vehicle while consistently upholding safety protocols.
- Represent the company with a professional appearance, positive attitude, and customer-first mindset.
