About The Position

Citadel Fence is a fast-moving and growing fence contractor focused on becoming the premier fence installation company in Atlantic Canada. We are looking to add a Fence Installation Foreman to our team. This position will be based out of Bedford, Nova Scotia. Citadel provides their clients with privacy and protection through the installation of chain-link, ornamental, wood and vinyl fences. Understanding that clients may have unique needs, Citadel collaborates with customers, industry partners and experienced professionals to provide the right product in every situation. Citadel has a culture that challenges its employees to improve, learn new skills and solve any issues brought forward by customers. The Fence Installation Foreman is experienced in installing fences, will focus on our residential projects and is willing to train and manage installation crews. They must be comfortable with grading/layout, all forms of fence types and gates and running a project from start to finish with limited direction from supervisor.

Requirements

Team player that is safety and production orientated
Experienced fence installer with a minimum of 2 years’ experience building vinyl, ornamental and chain-link fences
Good understanding of architectural plans/blueprints
Strong leadership skills
Valid driver’s license

Nice To Haves

2 years’ experience operating heavy equipment would be considered an asset

Responsibilities

Manage projects from beginning to end with limited supervision
Manage a fencing crew of 2-3 people constructing residential, ornamental and chain-link fences
Operate heavy equipment
Effectively train and manage crews to maximize production
Effectively solve problems as they arise
Ensure project in completed on time and to high standards
Travel throughout the province
Ensure job site is kept safe and clean
