About The Position

Allegheny Health Network (AHN) is seeking a fellowship-trained Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgeon (FPMRS) to join the Department of Urology in Pittsburgh, PA. This role involves the medical and surgical management of complex voiding dysfunction, pelvic prolapse, and other pelvic disorders. The position also includes a limited scope of general urology management, robotics/laparoscopic procedures relevant to FPMRS, and vaginal surgical procedures. Requirements

  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Urology/Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery
  • Completion of accredited fellowship in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery
  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
  • Eligible for unrestricted Pennsylvania medical licensure
  • DEA certification and ability to obtain AHN medical staff privileges

Responsibilities

  • Medical and surgical management of complex voiding dysfunction
  • Medical and surgical management of pelvic prolapse
  • Urodynamics
  • Management of pelvic disorders as appropriate to the fellowship trained candidate
  • General urology medical and surgical management to a limited scope
  • Robotics/laparoscopic procedures pertaining to FPMRS
  • Vaginal surgical procedures as per training
