About The Position

Fulfill the overall ministry of Grace Adventures and implement the mission of summer camps by providing supervision of and care for the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the campers assigned to you. This role involves helping to run camp, guest group, and Community Worship programs with excellence, completing staff training, and adhering to all camp policies. The position requires the individual to stay physically and spiritually fit to minister, and to become familiar with campus staff, facilities, and grounds.

Requirements

Have a personal growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
Knowledge of and love for God’s Word.
Love for kids and adults and the ability to communicate with them.
Good health and stamina as required to implement a summer camp program. This will involve long hours, sleeping in cabins with campers and lifting at times. Ability to work in various weather climates and conditions.
Willing and teachable attitude.
Team-based mindset.
Experience in teaching kids.
Willingness to participate in camp activities.
Minimum age 18 years old.
High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Maintain a vital, growing, personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
Create a cabin environment that is physically, emotionally, spiritually, and socially safe for all campers under your care.
Supervise campers effectively, being responsible for their conduct and conducting behavior management based on training.
Lead cabin bible studies.
Have an intentional one-on-one conversation with each camper under your care each week.
Attend all camp activities and meals.
Attend all staff meetings.
Complete all paperwork weekly.
Support Community Worship as assigned.
Assist with housekeeping: cleaning showers, bathrooms, and buildings to meet standards of excellence.
Other duties as assigned by your supervisor(s).
