About The Position

Fulfill the overall ministry of Grace Adventures and implement the mission of summer camps by providing supervision of and care for the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the campers assigned to you. This role involves creating a safe and supportive cabin environment, leading bible studies, and actively participating in all camp activities. The position requires a strong personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a genuine love for children and adults.

Requirements

Have a personal growing relationship with Jesus Christ
Knowledge of and love for God’s Word
Love for kids and adults and the ability to communicate with them
Good health and stamina as required to implement a summer camp program.
Ability to work in various weather climates and conditions.
Willing and teachable attitude
Team-based mindset
Experience in teaching kids
Willingness to participate in camp activities
Minimum age 18 years old
High School Diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

Help run camp, guest group, and Community Worship programs with excellence
Complete staff training and follow all camp policies
Stay physically and spiritually fit to minister
Become familiar with campus staff, facilities, and grounds
Maintain a vital, growing, personal relationship with Jesus Christ
Create a cabin environment that is physically, emotionally, spiritually, and socially safe for all campers under your care.
Supervise campers effectively.
Be responsible for the conduct of your campers and conduct behavior management based on training
Lead cabin bible studies
Have an intentional one-on-one conversation with each camper under your care each week
Attend all camp activities and meals
Attend all staff meetings
Complete all paperwork weekly
Support Community Worship as assigned
Assist with housekeeping: cleaning showers, bathrooms, and buildings to meet standards of excellence
Other duties as assigned by your supervisor(s)
