About The Position

This is a full-time, residential position for a female, professional Butler to join a private household and provide exceptional, dedicated service. The successful candidate will act as the primary point of contact for the Principal and his family, ensuring their complete comfort and satisfaction. Key responsibilities encompass light food and beverage management, including menu planning, service, and inventory. You will be tasked with providing impeccable guest services, from arrival to departure, and organizing events, from intimate dinners to larger gatherings. A core function of the role is to anticipate needs and gracefully fulfill all requests to maintain a seamless daily routine. The Butler is entrusted with upholding the highest standards of discretion, integrity, and confidentiality at all times. Furthermore, you will play a key role in overseeing the overall elegance and smooth operation of the residence. We are seeking an individual with proven experience, refined skills, and a genuine commitment to professional service. The ideal candidate is adaptable, possesses excellent leadership and organizational abilities, and is dedicated to creating a truly welcoming and sophisticated environment. Requirements

• Proven experience and knowledge as a butler/house manager.
• Trustworthy, loyal and discreet.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills.
• Proactive with an eye for detail.
• Commitment to a long-term relationship.
• A valid driver’s license.
• English is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple properties, conduct regular inspections, and coordinate with contractors and property managers for maintenance and security.
• Provide a warm and gracious welcome and farewell for guests, anticipate their needs based on known preferences, and proactively ensure a comfortable and satisfying stay.
• Perform basic home and boat maintenance, manage inventories, and assist with scheduling and event coordination as required.
• Provide valeting services including packing, unpacking, and clothing care, along with other personal assistant duties.
• Offer safe, professional driving services and ensure vehicles are kept clean and well-maintained.
• Assist with meal preparation, and oversee all aspects of table management, meal service, and tea/coffee presentation.
• Provide pet care and consistently apply a thorough knowledge of etiquette and protocol in all tasks.
