About The Position
Essity is a global leader in health and hygiene. This role is a member of the Fem Care Team that will support different areas within FemCare based on production needs. The position is responsible for ensuring that the main packaging area is operational as it relates to materials and all related equipment. It is also responsible for the operations of Webbing Regrind equipment, and cleanliness of the FemCare area. The role ensures safety, quality, production, and scrap standards meet operational objectives, and maintains a safe work environment.
Requirements
- HS Diploma or GED required
Responsibilities
- Pack shippers, monitor changeovers, fill packaging robots, change bundling film and case packer tape, clear jams, and monitor generic printers.
- Feed Webbing grinder with rework fiber/cotton material, maintain control of raw material usages and product yields, complete in-process inspections, monitor grinder operation, utilize pallet jack for material/product movement, and supply production lines with necessary raw materials.
- Maintain cleaning supplies, collect and dispose of trash and scrap materials, respond to Filter house alarms and clean accordingly, place correct recycling material in designated areas, and maintain work area in accordance with 5S standards.
- Consistently meet prescribed safety, quality, production, and efficiency standards.
- Communicate process/mechanical abnormalities to Team Leader & Supervisor.
- Follow all Essity safety/cGMP policies and guidelines.
- Work overtime/alternate schedules as business needs dictate.
- Responsible for daily turnover communication between shifts.
