About The Position

This role is a member of the Fem Care Team, supporting different areas within FemCare based on production needs. The position is responsible for ensuring the main packaging area is operational regarding materials and equipment, operating Webbing Regrind equipment, and maintaining the cleanliness of the FemCare area. The role ensures safety, quality, production, and scrap standards meet operational objectives and maintains a safe work environment.

Requirements

  • HS Diploma or GED required

Responsibilities

  • Pack, transport, and scan shippers to the area.
  • Monitor changeovers to scan off shippers.
  • Fill packaging robots with shippers as needed.
  • Change pester bundling film as needed.
  • Change tape into case packers as needed.
  • Clear jams and monitor generic printers.
  • Feed webbing grinder with rework fiber/cotton material.
  • Maintain strict control of all raw material usages and product yields.
  • Complete required in-process inspections per area requirements.
  • Monitor grinder operation to ensure all operating parameters are maintained.
  • Utilize manual or automated pallet jack for material/product movement.
  • Supply production lines with necessary raw materials.
  • Maintain production, batch, and quality records.
  • Maintain cleaning supplies in dedicated areas.
  • Collect and dispose of trash and scrap materials.
  • Respond to Filter house alarm and clean accordingly.
  • Place correct recycling material in designated areas.
  • Maintain work area in accordance with 5S standards.
  • Consistently meet prescribed safety, quality, production, and efficiency standards.
  • Communicate process/mechanical abnormalities to Team Leader & Supervisor to facilitate corrections in a timely manner.
  • Follow all Essity safety/cGMP policies and guidelines.
  • Work overtime/alternate schedules as business needs dictate.
  • Responsible for daily turnover communication between shifts with fellow Team Members and Management.
