The enFocus Fellowship is a two-year, salaried program designed to bring an entrepreneurial focus to communities in the South Bend - Elkhart, Indiana region. Fellows will work with enFocus Project Managers to discover, design, and implement innovative solutions for project sponsors in Civic (education, government, healthcare, nonprofit) and Industry (manufacturing, technology, private business) sectors. The program provides meaningful work responsibilities, continuous professional development, and access to a network of mentors. Fellows will execute one to three consulting-like innovation projects simultaneously, conduct applied research, and/or pursue entrepreneurial endeavors by supporting existing enFocus incubations or spearheading their own founder project. In the second year, there is a possibility for Fellows to take on further management and leadership responsibilities. Fellows are expected to represent enFocus positively and may be assigned to Civic Innovation or Industry Innovation projects, with all Fellows contributing to Research, Development, & Entrepreneurship initiatives.
