The enFocus Fellowship is a salaried, two-year program designed to bring an entrepreneurial focus to communities in the South Bend - Elkhart, Indiana region. Fellows will work with enFocus Project Managers to discover, design, and implement innovative solutions for project sponsors in Civic (education, government, healthcare, nonprofit, etc.) and Industry (manufacturing, technology, private business, etc.) sectors. Fellows will execute between one and three consulting-like innovation projects at any given time. Additionally, Fellows will conduct applied research and/or pursue entrepreneurial endeavors by supporting existing enFocus incubations or spearheading their own founder project to launch a startup, technology, or social impact initiative in the region. In the second year, there is a possibility to take on further management and leadership responsibilities. Fellows will also contribute to Research, Development, & Entrepreneurship initiatives, which may include advancing their own ventures, collaborating on federal research grant proposals, developing social programs, or working with startups.
