About The Position

This role is responsible for the construction, maintenance, and testing of mechanical equipment, machinery, and components within the feedmill. The position involves identifying parts or machines that require replacement, using shop mathematics for assignments, and interpreting equipment drawings to properly adjust, maintain, or repair machinery. The individual will respond to production area requests when mechanical issues arise, communicate with production management and personnel to diagnose problems, and perform preventive maintenance. Tasks must be completed with accuracy and efficiency regarding time and resources.

Requirements

• Minimum 1-2 years industrial maintenance experience
• Knowledge of industrial manufacturing equipment
• General mathematic ability required to perform job
• Ability to read and interpret documents and drawings
• Basic knowledge of standard and metric measures
• Must be able to work assigned days/shifts (including some weekends)

• Technical school preferred

Responsibilities
